CUSTOMER IGNORES TEMP LIGHT

This is from a 2010 Dodge RAM 1500 with a 4.7L engine. The customer stated that the engine overheated and then quit running. The customer tried to start it and it would not turn over. This was ALL the damage found inside the engine due to them driving it even though the gauge said the engine was overheating. It even cracked the engine block. The customer did replace the engine with a remanufactured engine. This was a REALLY expensive learning experience for the customer.

CUSTOMER SUPPLIED ENGINE

Customer wanted us to replace the engine in his Camaro and supplied the engine as he was told it was a good running engine. It’s a good thing we inspected it before we installed it. Fortunately the customer was able to get his money back and we installed a good used engine to get him back on the road.
